Ship of the Peruvian Navy will arrive in Chimbote to carry out health campaign

The Ship of the Peruvian Navy (BAP) Pisco will arrive in our city to carry out the campaign called “Solidarity Sea” in the specialties of gynecology, pediatrics, pulmonology, psychology and general medicine. The care will take place in two stages: from September 21 to September 23, professionals will travel to the Moro district to receive patients at the Santo Domingo de Moro School. And from September 25 to 29 the attention will be developed in the same boat that will anchor at the Enapu dock in Chimbote.

“We have chosen Moro because in that district there have been emergencies in recent years (El Niño phenomenon). All medical attention will be made from eight in the morning until five in the afternoon, ”explained the frigate captain, Germán Rivera Olivera. The BAP Pisco is a multipurpose vehicle built in the shipyards of SIMA Peru designed for naval operations, troop and civic transport and humanitarian support.
