About Leo Jenkins

Leo Jenkins became an EMT-B at the age of 18 and worked as a firefighter in Arizona for a year and a half prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army where he graduated from US Army combat medic course, Special Operations Medic Course, Operational Emergency Medical Course and several other live tissue and trauma management courses. During this time, Leo conducts three combat deployments as a platoon medic for Charlie company, 3rd Ranger Battalion.

Shortly after leaving the military Leo accepted a position as team medic for the DEA FAST team in Afghanistan where his roles included conducting tactical trauma management training for the Afghan NIU, running the team medical clinic as well as the direct action portion of the FAST mission.

Leo currently resides in southern Baja, Mexico and has explored just over 40 countries.
